The Electric Cable Release for the R8/R9 ensures absolute steady operation thanks to its 16.5" (5 m) length, and is the recommended tool for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure. Additional 25 m extension cables can be utilized to span distances of up to 328' (100 m).
