performance with future-proof system compatibility. The
Leica R-System, Leica M-System and Leica S-System profit
by the intelligent flash exposure control of the LEICA
SF 58. With the flash-integrated USB interface, it is
possible to update the flash firmware to assure compatibility
with future Leica cameras.

The combination of the high flash guide number (maximum58!
ISO 100/21°) and the tilt and swivel flash reflector
offers the opportunity for indirect lighting increasing
the photgrapher’s creativity.
Brilliance and Flexibility
High brilliance, brightened shadows and highlights are
kept up by the integrated system-controlled secondary
reflector. Moreover, the LEICA SF 58 flash unit provides
a large zoom range from 24 mm to 105 mm and can be extended
to 18 mm by the built-in wide angle diffuser. The flash
reflector adjustment is automatice, depending on focal
length and sensor size. Manual adjustments are also possible.

flash functions, such as TTL or Automatic as well as automatic
fill-in flash and the communication of all relevant camera
data (e.g. shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed, etc) allo

Autofocus-Matrix-Metering Flash assists camera’s
autofocus function and enables accurate focus even in
dim light situations. Intuitive soft keys, easy-to-use
operating concept and a clearly arranged Dot-Matrix- Display
realize that the photographer is able to concentrate just
on the essential.
