| The LEICA SF24D Flash delivers a 24-guide
number controlled flash exposure in combination with the
new Leica CM camera. The compact and lightweight LEICA
SF24D allows TTL-flash exposure control with the LEICA
R8 or R9 as well as the LEICA M6 or M7 TTL-models plus
automatic flashexposure control with all other LEICA M
and R cameras with central X hot-shoe contact.
The flash includes a diffusion attachment for 24-28mm
and 85mm lenses,as well as Exposure compensation by
+/- 3EVs. The unit switches off automatically after
3 minutes of inactivity. All neccessary information
such as film speed, aperture & distance is available
in the LCD which can be illuminated on demand.
Thanks to the 2 longlife Lithium batteries CR 123 a
very compact design, fast recharging times, & a
high number of flashes could be realised.
In the TTL- and A-modes the flash indicator in the
viewfinders of the LEICA R8, R9 and the LEICA M6 or
M7 TTL-models enables the photographer to check the
correct flash exposure immediately. Leica photographers'
creativity is satisfied by the option to utilize the
flash exposure compensation feature.
